KVKK — Personal Data Protection Notice

This notice is provided by Özel Dent House Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği ("Denthouse") in its capacity as data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). Personal data we process and the purposes
We process your identity and contact data (name, phone, email, country), your health data (the dental information and photos you share so we can assess your case), and appointment/treatment records. We process these for the purposes of:
- Responding to your enquiry and preparing a treatment plan and quote.
- Carrying out, coordinating and following up your treatment.
- Fulfilling our legal, medical record-keeping and accounting obligations.
Legal grounds (KVKK Articles 5 and 6)
Your personal data is processed on the grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK — in particular that processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract, for compliance with our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests. Health data is a special category of personal data; under Article 6 it is processed for the protection of public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment and care services, on the basis of your explicit consent where required.
Transfer of your data (KVKK Articles 8 and 9)
Your data may be shared with our clinical staff and with suppliers and business partners strictly needed to deliver your treatment and travel, and with public authorities where required by law, in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Where data is transferred abroad (for example between our Türkiye and Netherlands operations), this is done in accordance with the conditions of the KVKK.
How we collect your data
We collect your personal data through our website contact form, WhatsApp, email, phone and in-clinic, by automated and non-automated means, on the legal grounds described above.
Your rights under Article 11
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information about it.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used accordingly.
- Know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Request erasure or destruction of your data within the conditions of the law.
- Object to a result arising solely from automated analysis of your data.
- Claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
How to exercise your rights
You can submit your request under Article 13 of the KVKK in writing to our address above, or by email to info@denthouse.com.tr. We will conclude your request as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).
